More about 'Zulu Fitness'
ZULU FITNESS is run by Jack Paton and Juliette Cassidy, of Avoca Beach. These fitness professionals are ordinary individuals, who at some point in their lives discovered the benefits of exercise.
For Jack, it was a passion for boxing, and the ensuing training to get ready for his first amateur fight. Juliette was inspired by her dad, who took up ultra marathon running at 40, and she started jogging in her early 20’s to keep fit.
Jack says: “We both realised that keeping fit and eating healthy was a great way to live your life. Being involved in exercise and recreational sport benefits you physically, mentally, and socially.”
“The reason we became fitness trainers was to motivate and encourage others and instil them with the same confidence we received along the way.” he added.

Juliette says: “We have done some great challenges, physically, from running 150km in 24hours, and climbing rock faces, to competitive outrigging and surfboat rowing. The reason we did most of these things is due to the mentors we have met, ordinary people who had undertaken all these challenges before us, and offered us loads of encouragement and confidence.”
ZULU is about bringing fitness to small communities and working with small groups, who want to be active, and learn how to stay healthy and fit - for life.
